In a shocking turn of events, a married woman’s online romance culminated in a confrontation at her marital home in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. The woman’s lover, who had traveled from Ludhiana, Punjab, was taken into police custody following a dispute with her husband. However, the woman’s resolve was firm. She followed her lover to the court, defying her husband and family’s pleas to stay.
The woman, Aradhana, married Sheelu on May 5, 2022, and they had a child. However, Aradhana’s life took an unexpected turn when she started playing the mobile game Free Fire, where she met Shivam. Their online connection evolved into a romantic relationship unbeknownst to their families.
Aradhana’s husband, Sheelu, recounted that his wife had visited her lover in Delhi and that the lover then appeared at his home. He has now chosen to divorce his wife. Aradhana declared her intent to stay with her lover, citing her husband’s alleged abuse under the influence of alcohol, which prompted her lover’s visit. She asserted, “I want love, not a husband.”
Shivam explained that their online friendship blossomed 14 months prior, eventually becoming a romance. He stated he was unaware of the abuse Aradhana suffered. When she contacted him, he came to see her and was involved in a quarrel. He plans to accept her child and care for both of them.
