A dispute over land in Purnia, Bihar, escalated into a violent confrontation between two groups. The disagreement over the financial aspects of the land deal led to the use of arrows, resulting in serious injuries. Furthermore, there are allegations of gunfire during the clash. The incident took place in Hanuman Nagar, under the Raghuvansh Nagar OP police station area. The conflict involved a disagreement over 35 decimal units of mortgaged land. Two individuals sustained serious injuries from arrows. Following the incident, the village was placed under heavy police guard.
The injured individuals were admitted to the hospital. The two victims, believed to be cousins, were struck by arrows. One was hit in the stomach, while the other was hit in the chest. Doctors successfully removed the arrows after a considerable effort. After receiving news of the event, the police arrived at the scene, but the alleged perpetrators had already left. The police later arrested the suspect and sent him to jail. The village is currently under a state of high tension. The injured are undergoing treatment at Purnia Medical College.
