Speaking at a voter rights event in Nawada, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP and the Election Commission of working together to steal elections. He told the crowd that their vote is their most important right and that they shouldn’t let it be taken away. He argued that the vote is all that the poor have left and that losing it means losing everything. Gandhi cited several examples of alleged election manipulation, including in Maharashtra, where he noted a significant difference in voter turnout between the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections. He claimed that the Election Commission failed to provide information on why there was a discrepancy of a crore votes. Gandhi also alleged that in Karnataka, one lakh fake voters were discovered in a single constituency, which enabled the BJP to win. He called on the public to demand accountability from the Election Commission and pledged to fight against vote theft in Bihar. He also mentioned that the truth about past elections in Bihar will be revealed one day and that his government is preparing to take action against those responsible. Gandhi finished by addressing various issues such as unemployment, inflated electricity bills, rising prices, and the removal of 65 lakh voters in Bihar.
