Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) President Chirag Paswan has become a topic of discussion due to his recent statements. Paswan, who has been vocal about the law and order situation in Bihar, has now made statements that are drawing attention. After previously criticizing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Paswan is now offering praise.
Chirag Paswan has expressed his confidence in Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership. He stated, “I am fully assured that Nitish Kumar is completely healthy and fit to govern Bihar for the next five years. The election will be fought under his leadership, and the NDA will also win.”
During an interview, when asked if Bihar needed younger leadership and if he was confident that Nitish Kumar was fit to continue, the Union Minister replied that he was confident that Nitish Kumar is completely fit and fine to continue for the next five years. Paswan expressed his desire for the Chief Minister to remain healthy and for Bihar to benefit from his extensive experience.
Paswan also mentioned that the current situation in Bihar requires experienced leadership, and that Nitish Kumar is the leader who brought the state out of the ‘jungle raj’ era. He further stated that even though there are generational shifts in every state and government, and in every political party, the current condition of Bihar necessitates experienced leadership, and he believes that the next five years will be under the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
Clarifying his statements on law and order, Paswan mentioned that he uses his position in the central government to communicate the public’s concerns to the government. He supports the Bihar government, although he is not a part of it. Therefore, he raises serious issues when they arise. He also noted that the opposition attempts to twist his words to mislead the public into thinking that he will contest the elections separately from the NDA.
The Union Minister also stated that the NDA is a strong alliance, and all five parties are united. He predicted that the NDA will win more than 225 seats in Bihar this time. He added that the opposition attempts to portray that he is showing disrespect to his own government, whereas he has complete faith in his government and Nitish Kumar.
Paswan also mentioned that the public gave Nitish Kumar the name ‘Sushasan Babu’ because of his work. He stated that even if the law and order situation deteriorates in Bihar today, Nitish Kumar is the only person with the experience to control those situations. He also commented on SIR in Bihar, stating that it was needed because the opposition has been complaining about irregularities after every election. He said that when these irregularities are being rectified through the process, the same people are now opposing it.
