Bihar’s law enforcement received a significant upgrade with the recent addition of 618 new vehicles, commissioned by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The fleet comprises 520 four-wheelers and 98 two-wheelers, designed to enhance police mobility and operational capabilities. The handover ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. Chief Minister Kumar underscored the government’s focus on public safety, noting the importance of providing the police with modern tools to better serve the citizens. He emphasized that the new vehicles would significantly improve police patrols, response times, and coverage across the state. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure the efficient use of the new resources, emphasizing the need for the police to maintain public trust through responsible conduct. This initiative is expected to facilitate quicker responses in emergencies and improve overall crime control. The event also featured Director General of Police Vinay Kumar presenting a symbolic green plant to the Chief Minister. Other prominent figures included several ministers and top-ranking officials, such as Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena.
