The Bihar Idea Festival highlighted several groundbreaking innovations. Second place was awarded to Adarsh Arav from Saharsa, who received 21,000 rupees for his AI-powered autonomous drone platform called Garudnetra. This platform is designed for surveillance, disaster response, logistics, and patrolling in challenging terrains such as mountainous regions, deserts, and war zones. Western Champaran’s Shambhavi Sharma secured third place for developing the ‘Vayu Jyoti’ cookstove. This low-smoke, high-efficiency cookstove reduces smoke by 60% and saves up to 20% on wood consumption, while maintaining traditional cooking methods. She was awarded 15,000 rupees. Furthermore, Ajit Kumar from Siwan, received 11,000 rupees for constructing a cold storage facility using biogas under the Waste to Wealth project.
