The Prautishta Bloc, India (PBI) announced its first candidate during a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, naming Professor Mahendra Pratap Singh to run for the Kumhrar constituency. The party is following a phased process to select candidates committed to ethical and social development, and harmony for all seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

The Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party has made a significant claim regarding the party of Union Minister Chirag Paswan, stating that a major split is imminent. During a press conference in the capital, National Spokesperson Shravan Kumar Agarwal criticized Chirag Paswan and his party.
Agarwal predicted a substantial split in Chirag Paswan’s party, with increasing numbers resigning from the party. He alleged a growing exodus from Chirag’s party, with dedicated workers joining the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party. He also claimed that many leaders from Chirag’s party are seeking to join their party. Furthermore, he stated that 129 leaders from Chirag’s party resigned en masse on Sunday, making serious allegations against Chirag’s party MPs.
Agarwal accused Chirag Paswan of making baseless accusations and being dictatorial. He pointed to earlier splits in the party caused by Chirag’s conduct.
