Over the past year, the Bihar government has successfully provided government jobs to more than 140,000 individuals. The recruitment drive saw the hiring of a significant number of educators (over 110,000), along with police constables (over 21,000) and revenue officials (around 10,000). The government’s employment initiatives, conducted within the parameters of established reservation policies, have aimed to foster the overall advancement of individuals from marginalized sections of society. This strategy is viewed as a catalyst for substantial change in Bihar’s socio-economic environment.
