A major accident has been reported from Bhagalpur, Bihar, where a DJ van overturned into a ditch in Shahkund. The tragic incident led to the deaths of five Kanwariyas, and four others were injured. The van was carrying a total of nine people at the time of the accident. Reports indicate the van struck an electrical wire, causing it to lose control and fall into a ditch. Five people were killed as they were trapped beneath the vehicle; however, some managed to jump out to safety.
The injured were immediately taken to Shahkund Community Health Center. The van was transporting Kanwariyas from Sultanganj to Jyeshthgaur Nath for the purpose of offering water to the deity. The incident took place on the Sultanganj main road, near the Mahto Sthan, within the Shahkund police station limits.
