Police in Alwar, Rajasthan, have solved the murder of a man in the Bhiwadi police station area. The victim’s wife, Bobby Rai, and her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary, have been arrested in connection with the crime. The investigation revealed a disturbing tale behind the murder.
The body of 65-year-old Guddu Rai was found inside a closed room in the Santra Colony of Bhiwadi. Neighbors, noticing a putrid smell, alerted the authorities. Upon entering the house, the police discovered Guddu’s body. The landlord and his nephew disclosed that Guddu and his wife, Bobby, had been tenants and often engaged in arguments. The police initiated an investigation based on these clues.
The sister-in-law and brother-in-law confessed to the crime. Guddu, originally from Bhagalpur, Bihar, became the focus of the investigation based on information from CCTV footage and informants. The police questioned Bobby Rai, aged 40, and her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary, leading to their confession.
The pair presented a different story to the police. They stated that the deceased had been sick for months. The financial burden of medical treatment, rent, and groceries caused disagreements in the family. They alleged that this was the reason for the murder.
Further investigation revealed that Guddu’s body showed signs of violence. Anuj Chaudhary, who is married to Bobby’s uncle’s daughter, lived in the same house. It was also uncovered that they had an illicit relationship. After Guddu learned of the affair, he confronted Bobby. This sparked ongoing disputes. Eventually, Bobby and Anuj conspired to kill Guddu.
