Farmers in Bihar took to the streets in Patna to voice their grievances regarding alleged irregularities in government development projects. The farmers alleged that the government was acquiring their land at significantly undervalued prices. The protest was led by RJD MP Sudhakar Singh from Buxar, who spearheaded a massive demonstration in Patna. The farmers claimed that they were being compensated based on 2010 rates, while the Land Acquisition Act of 2013 mandated four times the compensation. The protest began at Buddha Park and was organized by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. The farmers vowed to continue their protest until their demands were met. They also demanded changes to the NH-319A route to protect their lands.
Rajesh Ram, the Bihar Pradesh Congress President, stated that their voter rights campaign had exposed the BJP. He claimed that the public was ready for a change and saw the Congress as a viable alternative. Ram also criticized the BJP’s attempts to manipulate the electoral process. Dr. Santosh Suman of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) said that Rahul Gandhi’s efforts would fail in Bihar, citing the Congress’s history of electoral losses. JDU’s Neeraj Kumar accused the RJD of disrespecting the legacy of Jananayak Karpoori Thakur. JDU leaders also criticized the RJD-Congress alliance.
CPM-ML’s Dipankar Bhattacharya raised concerns about the voter list revision, emphasizing that the time allotted was insufficient. He mentioned that many migrant workers’ documents had not been submitted. The NDA held worker conferences in 14 assembly constituencies. JDU leaders highlighted the achievements of the Nitish Kumar government. JDU leaders also criticized the Mahagathbandhan.

Nityanand Rai addressed workers in Chanpatia, Sanjay Jaiswal in Amanour, Mangal Pandey in Jamui, and Giriraj Singh in Banmankhi. These leaders emphasized the NDA’s commitment to development and the progress made under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
