Bihar is witnessing a surge in political activity, with rallies and strong statements dominating the scene. Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ has gained momentum, with the participation of southern state Chief Ministers Revanth Reddy and MK Stalin. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha criticized the Grand Alliance for inviting Reddy and Stalin, calling it an insult to the state. He claimed that Bihar is progressing under the double-engine government, and cannot be undermined by political figures such as Rahul and Tejashwi.
Sinha further accused Rahul and Tejashwi of being fundamentally opposed to Sanatan values and therefore, are seen supporting individuals like MK Stalin. He questioned their intentions behind inviting leaders with anti-Sanatan and anti-Bihar sentiments, and stated that the people of Bihar feel insulted by their actions. Sinha added that these leaders are acting irresponsibly, attempting to create unrest, and later blaming the government. He mentioned that the roads and bridges used during their election tourism were built by the NDA’s double-engine government.
A protest march was organized by the Bihar Pasmanda Foundation in Patna, with slogans raised against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin, and condemning the alleged insult to the state’s people. BJP leaders also spoke out, with spokesperson Danish Iqbal stating that Revanth Reddy, Stalin, and Priyanka Gandhi had insulted Bihar and its citizens. BJP’s Guru Prakash Paswan and Janak Ram blamed prior governments for undermining democracy, while praising the NDA government for the development in Bihar.
