During his visit to Satna, Madhya Pradesh, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat addressed the public after inaugurating the new building at the Meher Shah Darbar in the Baba Sindhi Camp. He stressed the collective identity of all as ‘Sanatani’ and Hindu, placing blame for division on the British. He elaborated that irrespective of religious or linguistic backgrounds, everyone is fundamentally Hindu. He referred to the British’s actions, the taking of spiritual strength in exchange for material possessions. This has led to the existing societal separation. He called for self-reflection through a spiritual perspective, following the guidance of gurus and embracing their cultural identity. Bhagwat stated that in due course of time, the rights would be restored.
He mentioned instances where individuals not identifying as Hindu are still considered Hindu on a global scale. He also spoke about those Sindhi people who did not go to Pakistan, highlighting the importance of their roots in undivided India. He asserted that they would reclaim what was lost, as it is their right.
