An Ayurvedic doctor, aged 36, was arrested on Tuesday for causing a disturbance on an Air India flight from Bengaluru to Surat. The woman reportedly threatened to crash the plane when cabin crew members asked her to move her bags from a restricted area. The flight was delayed by two hours, resulting in a security concern. Vyas Hiral Mohanbhai, from Shivanahalli near Yehlahanka, was traveling solo on AI Flight IX2749 with two bags. Police reports indicate that she avoided the check-in counter and insisted on bringing both bags onto the plane. Upon boarding, she placed one bag near the crew cabin and the other at her seat. When crew members asked her to store the bag in an overhead compartment, she refused, verbally confronting the crew and fellow passengers. She eventually threatened to crash the plane. Security was alerted, and she was removed from the flight. At the KIA police station, Mohanbhai continued her disruptive behavior, shouting and pushing officers. Her husband, who is employed at a local school or college, informed the police that his wife had a history of causing trouble and was traveling to Gujarat to visit her family. Police are currently investigating her background and any previous incidents.
