The Enforcement Directorate has taken action in Assam, seizing assets valued at ₹94.22 crore related to a land scam connected to the All India Services Officers Cooperative Group Housing Society. A charge sheet has also been filed. The Guwahati Zonal Office attached eight properties of Rajendra Nath on September 18, 2025. The cooperative housing society includes members who are IAS, IPS, and IFS officers.
The ED’s investigation stemmed from an FIR lodged at the Basistha police station in Guwahati. The FIR alleged criminal conspiracy, fraud, and breach of trust against S সৌতিক Goswami, Rajendra Nath, and others.
