All-Women Police Team in Ghaziabad Makes History with Encounter and Arrest of Accused Criminal

In a groundbreaking operation, an all-women police team in Ghaziabad apprehended a 22-year-old criminal wanted in numerous theft and robbery cases. The arrest occurred after a gunfight on Sunday night. During a routine check, officers attempted to stop Jitendra, son of Nandkishore, a resident of Vijay Nagar. He resisted and subsequently engaged in a shootout with the officers. When confronted, Jitendra allegedly fired his weapon, prompting the police to respond. He was injured and taken into custody. Investigation revealed Jitendra’s connection to multiple incidents of snatching, robbery, and automobile theft. He confessed to stealing motorcycles, scooters, and snatching valuables in the Delhi-NCR area. Recovered from the scene were a country-made pistol, ammunition, a stolen scooter, a mobile phone, and a tablet. The scooter was identified as stolen from Delhi, and the other items were reported stolen on the same day from the Crossing area.
