Prime suspects in the devastating Red Fort blast, including Dr. Muzammil Shakeel Ganai and Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather, have been remanded to 10-day judicial custody. The Patiala House Court’s decision follows the completion of their prior detention period. This chilling incident, which occurred on November 10th, saw a powerful explosion erupt from a car near the Lal Quila Metro Station, resulting in 15 fatalities and numerous injuries. Multiple vehicles were also destroyed in the blast’s aftermath. The ongoing investigation has led to the arrest of seven individuals by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, who are believed to be part of a significant terror module. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is actively pursuing all avenues to identify and apprehend any other parties connected to this attack, coordinating operations nationwide. Adding another layer to the probe, Delhi Police have identified two more temporary residences allegedly used by Dr. Muzammil Ganaie. These rented properties in Faridabad were reportedly leased using deceitful means and served as operational bases for an extended period. The meticulous planning and network involved are becoming increasingly apparent as the investigation progresses.
