new Delhi. More than 28 thousand new cases have been reported in the country on the third day in the midst of the dreaded condition of corona infection , which has crossed the figure of 9.06 lakh infected and more than 550 people have died during this period.
According to data released on Tuesday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 28,498 new cases of corona infection have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours, taking the number of infected to 9,06,752. Earlier there were 28,637 cases on Sunday and 28,701 on Monday and compared to these, there has been a slight decrease in the number of infected on Tuesday.
Relief among the fast growing cases of infection is that the number of people recovering from this is also increasing continuously. During the last 24 hours, 17,989 patients have become healthy, which together has made 5,71,460 disease free. There are 3,11,565 active cases of corona infection in the country right now. The death toll has risen to 23,727 in the last 24 hours, with 553 people dead.
Maharashtra, the worst affected by the Corona epidemic, recorded 6,497 new cases of infection in the last 24 hours, taking the infectious figure to 2,60,924. During the same period 193 people have died, due to which the number of dead has increased to 10,482. At the same time 1,44,507 people have become infection free.
In the last 24 hours in Tamil Nadu, the number of infections has increased by 4,328 to 1,42,798 and the number of deaths has gone up to 2,023 from 57 deaths in the same period. In the state, 92,567 people have been discharged from hospitals after treatment.Decreased speed in capital Delhi : The situation of corona epidemic in the national capital Delhi is now under some control and the rate of increase in cases of infection has decreased slightly here. So far, 1,13,740 people have been affected by the corona in the capital and the death toll has increased to 3411. Here 91,312 patients have been freed.
The country’s western state of Gujarat ranks fourth in terms of number of infected Kovid-19 , but in the number of dead it is third after Maharashtra and Delhi. In Gujarat, the number of infected has reached 42 thousand and so far 42,722 people have been infected with the virus and 2,055 people have died. 29,770 people in the state have also recovered from the disease.In the southern state of Karnataka, 41,581 people have been infected and 757 people have died. 16,248 people have also recovered in the state.
So far, 38,130 cases of corona infection have been reported in the country’s largest state Uttar Pradesh by population and 955 people have died due to this virus while 24,203 patients have been cured.
In another southern state of Telangana, cases of corona infection are also increasing very rapidly. In Telangana, the number of infected has reached 34,221 and 365 people have died while 23,679 people have so far recovered from the epidemic.More than 31 thousand infected in Bengal : 31,448 people have been infected with the Corona virus in West Bengal and 956 people have died and 19,213 people have recovered so far. Due to the rapid increase in the number of infected people in Andhra Pradesh, it has moved above Rajasthan in the list of most affected.
31,103 people have been infected in the state and the death toll has risen to 365. In Rajasthan too, the number of corona infections has reached 24,936 and 525 people have died so far, while 18,630 people have fully recovered. In Haryana, 21,894 people have been infected with Corona virus and 308 people have died.The epidemic has 663 in Madhya Pradesh, 204 in Punjab, 187 in Jammu and Kashmir, 160 in Bihar, 70 in Odisha, 49 in Uttarakhand, 36 in Assam, 33 in Kerala and Jharkhand, 19 in Chhattisgarh, 18 in Puducherry, 18 in Goa. 17 people died in Himachal Pradesh, 11 in Chandigarh, two each in Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Tripura and one in Ladakh.
