Preparations for Bhoomipujan of Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya are in full swing. Meanwhile, grand preparations are also being made to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5 August. During the Ayodhya Yatra, PM Modi will be presented with a rare one and a half feet Kodand Ram made of wood and a one foot lav-kush statue.
Statues to be given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi are being built by the Ayodhya Research Institute in Karnataka, which is almost complete. On 5 August, during the worship at Ram Janmabhoomi, the statue of Kodand Ram and Lav-Kush will be presented to PM Narendra Modi by the Culture Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
These sculptures are specially prepared by the President Award-winning craftsman Ramamurthy in Karnataka. Special teakwood from Karnataka has been used to make it. Actually, Lord Shri Ram’s bow is known as Kodanda. When he reached South India in search of Sitaji, he had a bow in his hand at that time.
Lord Sri Ram raised the Kodanda bow to protect his wife Sitaji, so Lord Sri Ram is considered as a female protector in South India and Rama’s Kodanda form is worshiped.
Significantly, in the auspicious time on 5 August, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will do Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. UP chief Yogi Adityanath will receive him. Preparations have been made for the grand program of Bhoomi Poojan. 200 guests have been invited. Its list has been sent to the PMO by Champat Rai, general secretary of the trust.
On the day of Bhoomipujan of Ram temple, Ramlala will wear Navratna and velvet garments. Ramlala’s clothes are being made in green and saffron colors. Saffron color is being put in Ramlala’s green cloth. Ramlala’s clothes will be ready by August 1. In addition to textiles, a star-studded curtain is also being prepared for laying on the pedestal.
Along with Ramlala, postures are also being prepared for Lakshmana, Bharata, Shatrughna, Hanuman ji and Shaligram. Water and soil from holy rivers across the country are being brought to Ayodhya to prevent any hindrance in the construction of Ram temple. Ayodhya is being decorated with colors so that the world will be stunned.
