Government of Chhattisgarh released 3.80 crore rupees to help the workers in distress

On the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, Chhattisgarh Building and other construction workers welfare board released funds for all districts
The board gave funds for food, lodging, medical, transportation and other facilities to the needy and needy registered workers.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, an amount of Rs. 3 crore 80 lakh has been released by the Labor Department of the state government to help the distressed and needy laborers. This amount has been released to all the districts of the state by Chhattisgarh Bhavan and other construction workers welfare board.
    Use of this amount in circumstances arising out of Novel Corona Virus (Kovid-19), immediate assistance to the distressed and needy registered workers of Chhattisgarh Bhawan and other construction workers welfare board like their food, temporary accommodation, medical, transport, accident etc. I will be able to provide them the facility as required.
      In the amount released by the board, Rs 20 lakh has been released to the Assistant Labor Commissioner of Raipur, Baloda-Bazar, Bilaspur, Mahasamund, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Raigad, Bastar, Sarguja, Durg and Rajnandgaon. Similarly, an amount of Rs 10 lakh has been released to the labor officials of Gariaband, Dhamtari, Mungeli, Kondagaon, Kanker, Dantewada, Sukma, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Korea, Jashpur, Balod, Bemetra and Kawardha.
