First Monday Of Sawan: Shiva Devotees Attended Baba’s Court In The Atmosphere Faded In Corona Crisis

Varanasi . For the first time in the city of Kashipuradhipati on the first Monday of Sawan, there was no sight of Kankar-Kankar Shivamay. In the court of Baba Vishwanath, due to the global pandemic Corona crisis, the deeds of Kavandis and the deafening cry of Harhar Mahadev could not be heard. In a dull environment, relatively few Shiva devotees walked on the red carpet after being sanitized by following the laws of physical distance with masks on their mouths and attended the court of Baba Vishwanath. During this period, extensive security arrangements were made in the entire temple enclosure. SP City Vikas Chandra Tripathi and Dashashwamedh CO Avadhesh Pandey were seen walking in the temple enclosure with the force themselves.

On the first Monday of Savan, the devotees started queuing up with Alsubah to get a glimpse of Baba. Despite the humidity and heat, the enthusiasm of the devotees was skyrocketing. Announcement of Har Har and Mahadev, Baba’s devotees were automatically feeling a sense of love towards him. Earlier, at 3.30 pm, amidst the Vedic chanting of Baba’s Vidhi Vidhan, the shrine of the temple opened to the devotees after the grand decoration Mangala Aarti. Due to Corona, Shiva devotees have to pass through thermal scanners at all the three entrances of the temple. Before entering the temple, sanitizing them and following the rules of physical distance, only 5 people are being allowed to enter the temple at a time. Shiva devotees are getting only the tableau darshan of Baba in the court and Sparsh Darshan is banned completely.
