There is no need to go far to test the government’s working style. Look at the farmers of Togpur, the revenue village adjoining the city. They have been swinging between the respective website and Krishi Bhavan for about a year to get the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. PM Kisan website rejects their application. Krishi Bhavan gives the reason for not having a revenue village. Despite giving the certificate of registering revenue village Togpur in Tehsil Sadar, this case is pending in Krishi Bhavan for almost a year. The farmers of this village are wandering to get the Samman Nidhi. According to Deputy Director of Agriculture, Dr. Ashok Kumar, the case of farmers of Togpur village has been sent to the Directorate of Agriculture, which is still undistorted.

According to Vinay Prakash Singh Lalla, a journalist and farmer by profession, the certificate of revenue village Togpur from Tehsil Sadar has been given to the Agriculture Department for about a year. Starting from December 1, 2018, five installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi have been received by the farmers of the district. The farmers of Togpur village are still waiting for the first installment. According to Lalla Singh, apart from him Badriprasad, Bhagauti Yadav, Laxman, Maharaja Pratap, Muralidhar, Rajendraprasad Maurya, Ranjit Kumar Singh and Shatruhn applied for Kisan Samman Nidhi. The relevant website was rejected. He has given the certificate of revenue village to Tehsil Sadar. About three lakh nine thousand farmers got the first installment in the district. The maximum number of farmers are in the first installment. Second, third, The number of farmers getting the fourth and fifth installments is decreasing. The reason for not getting the installment is the flawed feeding agriculture building. Employees have been installed in the hall and block level state agricultural godowns to fix faulty feeding in the agricultural building, yet the mess remains intact.FacebookTwitterWhatsAppEmailShare
