The new film ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ from Dharma Productions, has released its teaser, featuring a revamped version of the iconic song ‘Bijuria.’ The original ‘Bijuria’ song, a dance hit by Sonu Nigam, was a defining track of the 90s. The song was part of Sonu Nigam’s album ‘Mausam,’ released in 1999. Nigam was the singer, writer, and composer (along with Ravi Pawar) of the original. This rendition of ‘Bijuria’ is available on the Sonu Music India video YouTube channel. The renewed version retains the original essence while incorporating new musical compositions by Tanishk Bagchi, collaborating with Ravi Pawar. Ajay Jhingran has penned new lyrics, and Sonu Nigam performs the song with Asees Kaur.
Varun Dhawan, in a social media post, shared a video of himself dancing to the track with Sonu Nigam, reflecting on his childhood memories linked to the song and expressing gratitude to Nigam.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ will be released on October 2nd and is directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, with Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Suresh Saraf, and Abhinav Sharma in supporting roles. Khaitan’s previous directorial ventures include notable films like ‘Dhadak,’ ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania,’ ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania,’ ‘Bhoot,’ and ‘Govinda Naam Mera.’
