Shweta Tiwari, known for her role in the hit television series ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ (2001), gained widespread recognition. Even before her breakthrough role, she had already been married and become a mother. Her first marriage ended, and she later married again, which also ended in divorce. Now 44, she embraces single motherhood and is content with her life. In an interview, she shared her current views on romance.
In an interview with the YouTube channel Galata India, Shweta talked about her life experiences, highlighting both successes and failures. She discussed her two failed marriages and how she approaches the topic of romance. She was asked if her definition of love changed after everything she’s been through. She clarified that love remains the same, but her perspective on relationships has evolved. She shared that while love exists with family and close friends, forming new relationships has become challenging.
Shweta stated, ‘If you talk about romance in a relationship, I don’t think about it. I even skip the romance part when I read books. If I watch something, I think, what is going on (laughing)? I make fewer relationships now, and if they happen, I can’t believe it. So, there has been a rift in relationships, but not in love; love is a good thing, and I love my children very much, I am living a good life.’
