Veteran actor Satish Shah, aged 74, has passed away, leaving a void in the Indian entertainment industry. Contrary to early reports of kidney failure, actor Rajesh Kumar, known for ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai,’ clarified that Shah died from a sudden cardiac arrest while having lunch. Kumar stated that Shah had successfully managed his kidney condition, which included a previous bypass surgery and a recent kidney transplant. It has been revealed that Satish Shah underwent this life-extending kidney transplant with the sole purpose of continuing to care for his wife, Madhu Shah, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. This profound act of devotion was shared by actor Sachin Pilgaonkar, who reminisced about the couple’s unwavering support for industry colleagues and the deep personal loss felt by their absence.
