Actress Rini Ann George has accused a young leader from a Kerala political party of sending her inappropriate and offensive messages. She reported the issue to the party leadership, but no action followed. Despite this, Rini has chosen not to reveal the politician’s identity.
In an interview, Rini shared details about the messages she received. She stated that the politician invited her to a location for his personal interests. Upon her objection, he allegedly showed a dismissive attitude. She noted that the young leader frequently appears in televised discussions and at protests. Rini also shared specifics of the messages, recalling one where he suggested they book a room in a luxury hotel. She reacted strongly at the time. Though the messages ceased for a while, they eventually restarted. She stated that she decided to come forward after learning that many women are facing similar issues.
According to Rini, she didn’t lodge a formal complaint due to concerns for her safety. She believes it would only lead to personal danger. She advised women to be discerning when choosing their representatives.
