The promising career of Marathi actor Sachin Chandwade, recognized for his part in the popular Netflix series ‘Jamtara 2,’ has been tragically cut short. Chandwade passed away at the young age of 25. Sources report that the actor died by suicide at his home in Jalgaon’s Parola area.
Chandwade maintained an active presence on social media, particularly Instagram, where he amassed over 7,000 followers. He often shared glimpses of his personal and professional life with his audience. Prior to his acting career, he was a trained engineer and worked as a software engineer in Pune.
A year prior, in 2022, Chandwade shared an inspiring message about overcoming challenges. His Hindi post read, “Waqt ne fasaya hain, lekin main pareshaan nahi hu, Haalaton se haar jaaun main wo insaan nahi hu.” This translates to his unwavering spirit: “Time has trapped me, but I am not worried. I am not the kind of person who gives up in tough situations.” The note highlighted his resolve during difficult periods.
Reports indicate the tragic incident occurred at his home, where he was found having taken his own life. His family’s swift action to transport him to the hospital was unfortunately not enough to save him. He was later moved to a Dhule hospital, where he succumbed to his condition in the early hours of October 24th.
Sachin Chandwade also featured in the 2018 Marathi film ‘Ek Sangharsh Mastercha,’ directed by Mahesh Thorat.
