The film Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, released on August 29, has made a strong impact in its opening. The film had generated anticipation before its release, with the lead pair’s fresh on-screen presence proving popular. The opening day box office collection has been revealed. Despite existing films in theaters, including ‘Vash Level 2’, ‘Kuli’, ‘War 2’, ‘Hridaypoorvam’ and ‘Lokah’, Param Sundari has secured a respectable opening. Notably, Param Sundari has outperformed the first-day collections of eight of Sidharth Malhotra’s earlier films.
The film’s opening day collection stands at ₹7.25 crore, as reported by Sacnilk, making it one of Sidharth Malhotra’s best openings to date. This figure may increase as more data comes in. The film’s performance is slightly better than the opening of ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film’s trailer and music have been well received, especially by young audiences. The makers invested between ₹40 to ₹50 crore in producing this romantic drama. The film is directed by Tushar Jalota.
