OTT platforms are gearing up for a week of exciting releases. Netflix, JioHotstar, and Prime Video are set to launch a variety of new movies and web series. Highlights include ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’, a suspenseful murder mystery, and ‘Kurukshetra’, an animated series. Here’s a guide to what’s coming out this week.
‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ tells the story of a journalist investigating a mysterious incident on a yacht. The movie, starring Keira Knightley, will be available on Netflix starting October 10.
The animated series ‘Kurukshetra’ will explore the perspectives of 18 key warriors as they face their own challenges amid the war. The series is written and directed by Ujaan Ganguly and produced by Alok Jain, Anu Sikka and Ajit Andhare. Conceptualized and created by Anu Sikka, with lyrics by Gulzar. ‘Kurukshetra’ is scheduled to release on Netflix on October 10, 2025, and will have a total of nine episodes.
‘Mirai’ features Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran. The film is about a warrior’s quest to protect sacred scriptures. It will be released on JioHotstar on October 10.
‘Search: The Naina Murder Case’ stars Konkona Sen Sharma and is directed by Rohan Sippy. This series is a six-episode adaptation of a Danish series that debuted in 2007. It focuses on a detective and will be available on JioHotstar on October 10.
The live-action adaptation of the 2010 animated film, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’, is also set to be released on JioHotstar. The cast includes Mason Thames, Nico Parker, and others. The movie follows the story of a Viking boy and a dragon named Toothless.
