The well-known television actor Nakuul Mehta and his wife, Jankee Parekh, are celebrating the birth of their second child, a baby girl, born on August 15, 2025. The couple shared the joyous news through a joint post featuring several heartwarming photographs. The photos include their son Sufi lovingly holding his newborn sister, Nakuul gazing at the baby, and a candid picture of the couple moments before the birth.
They revealed their daughter’s name, Rumi, alongside a heartfelt note, which read: “She’s here. Sufi finally has his Rumi. Our hearts are complete. 15th August 2025. Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
Prior to this, the couple announced their pregnancy in June with a sweet family photo, expressing their excitement: “The boy is ready for additional responsibility. So are we. We are accepting blessings.”
Nakuul is renowned for his performances in popular TV series such as Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Ishqbaaaz and currently co-stars with Disha Parmar in Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. Jankee, a singer, has produced various successful songs and YouTube videos. The couple married on January 28, 2012, and their first child, Sufi, was born in February 2021.
