Teja Sajja returns to the big screen with ‘Mirai,’ an action-packed film that has successfully carved a niche for itself amidst a crowded weekend of releases. The movie’s narrative revolves around a warrior charged with protecting nine sacred texts, believed to grant divine status to any mortal.
‘Mirai’ earned an estimated Rs 16.50 crore on its third day of release, as reported by Sacnilk. The film’s total box office collection has reached Rs 44.50 crore.
Teja Sajja shared that director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached him for ‘Mirai’ after the success of ‘HanuMan.’ The director’s initial presentation focused on the hurdles of the project, which Teja interpreted as a test of his dedication. Teja confirmed his commitment to the project, which led to the film’s realization.
The ending of ‘Mirai’ teases a sequel, titled ‘Mirai: Jaithraya.’ Rana Daggubati makes an appearance in a mid-credit scene, potentially setting the stage for his role as a villain in the upcoming film. Rana’s character displays superpowers, maintaining an element of mystery.
The cast includes Manchu Manoj, who plays the main antagonist, along with Ritika Nayak and Shriya Saran.
