The upcoming cinematic spectacle ‘Dhurandhar’ has added another star to its impressive cast with the inclusion of versatile actress Gitikka Ganju Dhar. She will be sharing the screen with Ranveer Singh in this ambitious project helmed by director Aditya Dhar. Ganju Dhar shared her enthusiasm for the film’s unique approach, noting, ‘Dhurandhar is just that – poised to be a stalwart of a film! In India, this genre has probably not been cinematically presented with such precision, authenticity and panache before.’
She further elaborated on the film’s potential impact, emphasizing, ‘And proud of the result of the work the director and producers, Aditya Dhar & Lokesh Dhar, have put in, and of course, it was a delight to see ‘The Chameleon’, a master performer, Ranveer in action!!’ Ganju Dhar highlighted Aditya Dhar’s directorial prowess, describing him as ‘sharp & clear-headed’ and praising the film’s ‘bold and authentic representation of the truth.’
She also acknowledged the importance of thorough research and authenticity in storytelling, suggesting that future films on similar subjects will need to match the preparation undertaken for ‘Dhurandhar’. Ganju Dhar mentioned enjoying her time working with Rakesh Bedi, Ranveer, and Sara Arjun. Her past credits include ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and recent acclaimed OTT performances in ‘Tanaav Season 2’ and ‘Aarya Season 2’. ‘Dhurandhar’, also starring Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna, is scheduled for release on December 5, 2025.
