Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new film, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, is one of the most anticipated projects. The film is expected to have several major sequences. Kapoor has two major films planned for next year: ‘Love and War’ and ‘Ramayana Part 1.’ Reports suggest the makers are planning a promotional release. Amidst these developments, preparations for a key sequence have begun in Madhya Pradesh.
Recent reports reveal that the next phase of filming will take place in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, once known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, a British cantonment established in 1818.
The upcoming schedule of ‘Love and War’ involves a 15-day shoot in Mhow, leveraging the historical British Army cantonment as the backdrop. The filming will necessitate the presence of both Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The team is awaiting the required permits.
After completing the work in Madhya Pradesh, the team will shift to Europe in October. Specifically, Italy will be the location for filming. The filmmakers aim to wrap up the shoot before the end of 2025. The movie is slated for release on March 20, 2026, which is the same day as Yash’s ‘Toxic.’ Earlier reports hinted that either Ranbir or Vicky would be part of the British Army in the film and they would be seen in a face-off. Several such sequences have already been filmed.
