Dhanush’s latest film, ‘Kuberaa,’ co-starring Nagarjuna, has demonstrated strong performance at the box office. Early estimates indicate a Rs 16 crore collection on its second day, building upon its opening day earnings of Rs 14.75 crore. The film, which also features Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh, has generated significant excitement among fans. The second-day figures show strong contributions from various languages, with Telugu contributing Rs 10 crore, Tamil Rs 4.5 crore, Hindi Rs 0.23 crore, and Kannada Rs 0.02 crore. The cumulative two-day collection totals Rs 30.75 crore.
Director Sekhar Kammula shared that he was initially apprehensive about approaching Dhanush with the film’s story. Jim Sarbh, who plays a significant role in the movie, underwent extensive training to learn Telugu specifically for his part. The film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, with Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth contributing as co-producers.
