Junior NTR, a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry, was slated to be involved in multiple projects beyond ‘War 2’. Given the film’s underperformance and the lack of a recovery plan, the filmmakers faced the dilemma of how to facilitate his comeback. Before any decisions could be made, Junior NTR delivered a setback to YRF.
According to a recent report on Cinejosh, Junior NTR has put his next project on hold following the failure of ‘War 2’. This project was part of a multi-film deal he had signed with YRF, intended to follow ‘War 2’. However, the debacle of ‘War 2’ has led to the cancellation of these plans. Sources indicate that he was scheduled to star in a solo hero film with the studio, with shooting set to commence soon. However, this project has been put on hold for now.
Although the deal itself hasn’t been cancelled, which provides some relief to YRF, NTR is currently occupied with Prashanth Neel’s film, ‘Dragon.’ The actor is expected to make a decision on his future projects after finishing ‘Devara 2’ and Prashanth Neel’s film. It’s worth noting that Junior NTR was paid more than Hrithik Roshan for ‘War 2’.
