The show, starring Jethalal, is currently in the news for introducing new characters, but recent speculation of another cast member leaving has worried fans. This time, the rumors centered on Ambika Ranjankar, who plays the role of Dr. Haathi’s wife.
The character of Mrs. Haathi, played by Ambika, had been missing from several recent episodes of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.’ This led to online discussions and assumptions that Ambika might be leaving the show. Fans started asking if Mrs. Haathi would also depart after Dayaben.
Ambika Ranjankar has clarified the situation. In a conversation with an entertainment portal, she refuted claims of leaving the show, stating, “No, I haven’t left the show. I am still a part of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.'”
When asked about her absence, the actress explained, “I was away from the show due to some personal reasons. I needed some time for myself.” Ambika’s statement effectively silenced the rumors about her leaving.
New characters are set to join ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Kuldeep Gaur and Dharti Bhatt, along with their two children, will be entering Gokuldham Society. Kuldeep Gaur will play Ratan Binjola, who owns a saree shop, while Dharti Bhatt plays his wife, Rupa. Rupa is a homemaker, influencer, and content creator. Their children, Veer and Bansari, are expected to bring more fun and innocence to the show.
