Deepika Padukone, after exiting ‘Spirit’ and ‘Kalki 2’, is now focused on two significant projects: AA22xA6 with Allu Arjun and Atlee, and KING alongside Shah Rukh Khan. While already engaged in filming KING, rumors are circulating that Deepika’s role in Atlee’s film has been scaled down, potentially impacting her involvement.
Reports indicate that the reduction in screen time for Deepika in AA22xA6 stems from her request for fewer working hours. However, these claims are disputed by some sources.
A report suggests that Deepika Padukone will commence shooting with Allu Arjun for Atlee’s film later this month. Sources close to the production deny any changes to Deepika’s character, stating that her role remains substantial and crucial for both parts of the movie. Her dates are blocked from the end of October until the end of December.
The initial schedule will concentrate on establishing her character, with large-scale action sequences planned for November. The team will then move to the UAE in December to film key scenes featuring Allu Arjun and Deepika.
The news of her reduced role in Atlee’s project follows her exit from ‘Kalki 2’. It’s speculated that the makers of ‘Kalki 2’ removed Deepika due to her demands for a 25% fee hike and a 7-hour shift, which the production couldn’t accommodate.
