Several Bollywood stars were seen bringing Lord Ganesha, affectionately known as Bappa, to their homes. They then celebrated the festival with immense devotion and happiness, receiving the blessings of the divine.
Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Suniel Shetty, Rupali Ganguly, and Urmila Matondkar shared their wishes for the festival on Instagram. Shilpa Shetty Kundra shared a throwback video, expressing how much she missed the tradition of bringing Bappa home this year.
Sonu Sood, Sharvari, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ananya Panday, Varun Konidela, Soha Ali Khan Pataudi, Kunal Khemu with his daughter Inaaya Naumi Khemu, and Bharti Singh with her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa participated in the welcoming of Bappa.
The grand event was also attended by Arjun Bijlani, Ankita Lokhande, Alisha Panwar, Hansika Motwani, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, Yuvika Chaudhary, and dancer-choreographer Dhanashree Verma.
Dispelling divorce rumors, Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together. They were seen wearing similar traditional outfits and offered sweets to the media present. When asked about the rumors, Sunita humorously remarked, “Did you come here to hear about controversy or to see Ganpati?” They both continued to interact with smiles and distributed sweets.
