Following a successful surgery to remove a stage two liver cancer tumor, Dipika Kakar has made her first appearance. In a vlog with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim, she expressed deep appreciation for the support she received from her fans. The actress was visibly moved as she recounted the kindness and prayers that uplifted her during this difficult period.
In the vlog, Dipika shared her sentiments, stating, “I am extremely thankful to you all for keeping me in your prayers and thoughts. The nurses were also extremely kind and positive. Several others, family members of other patients, were so nice and kind to me. I am feeling much much better.” Shoaib detailed the surgery, mentioning the removal of the tumor and gallbladder, and that a small part of the liver was removed. He reassured fans about the liver’s regenerative abilities.
Dipika had previously revealed her diagnosis, mentioning the discovery of a significant tumor. Dipika and Shoaib, married since 2018, are parents to a son named Ruhaan.
