‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle,’ one of the most awaited anime releases, has premiered in India, immediately capturing the attention of fans. The movie unfolds a new epic battle after Tanjiro, Hashiras, and other members of the Demon Slayer Corps are transported to Infinity Castle by Muzan. Catering to a wide audience, the film is available in Japanese, English, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. The film sustained its popularity on the second day, amassing a significant sum. On its second day, the movie earned approximately Rs 13 crore across India, covering all languages. This increased the overall collection to Rs 26 crore. On its opening day, ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle’ earned Rs 13 crore. The revenue breakdown per language includes Rs 7.5 crore in Japanese, Rs 2.4 crore in English, Rs 2.75 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.2 crore in Telugu, and Rs 0.15 crore in Tamil. Owing to the high demand, theaters have scheduled early morning showings of ‘Demon Slayer Infinity Castle’. For instance, Inox Megaplex in Pune has added a 5:15 am show, followed by Cinepolis Seawoods in Navi Mumbai at 5:20 am. In Delhi, PVR Vegas Dwarka and Inox Vishal Mall have scheduled 6:40 am shows. Meanwhile, Bengaluru’s PVR Nexus, Inox Mantri Square, and Inox Galleria Mall have introduced 6:30 am shows. The Indian version of the film has been released uncut and has received a U/A 13+ certification, indicating its suitability for viewers aged 13 and above. The plot picks up from the Hashira Training Arc’s conclusion, where various Hashiras and their unique abilities were introduced. Tanjiro underwent training with Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and Obanai Iguro, the Serpent Hashira, to prepare for his future battles. The film provides further insight into Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
