The movie, originally released in 1975, continues to resonate with audiences. The upcoming screening, taking place 11,600 kilometers from India, is part of the Toronto Film Festival celebrations. The Film Heritage Foundation has announced the event on social media. The screening is scheduled for September 6th, within the Toronto Film Festival, which will run from September 4th to September 14th. A noteworthy aspect is that the film will be shown in a 4K version. Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar wrote the screenplay. The music was composed by R.D. Burman. Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan starred as Jai and Veeru, respectively. Amjad Khan’s portrayal of the dacoit Gabbar Singh was highly memorable, with his dialogue “Kitne aadmi the?” becoming iconic.
