BTS, now reunited after all members completed their military service, is gearing up for a significant comeback. Following their reunion in June, the group spent several months in Los Angeles working on new music, collaborating with award-winning composers and producers. The comeback album is expected in spring 2026, with a world tour to follow shortly thereafter.
Reports indicate the 2026 world tour will span from May to December, featuring approximately 65 performances. The tour is estimated to attract around 4 million fans, with each show expected to draw over 60,000 attendees.
Before the tour, BTS will launch a two-week global event from September 24 to October 5, showing four concert films in 2,500 theaters across 65 countries. Pop-up stores will also open in various cities to celebrate the comeback.
In related news, J-Hope’s solo concert film, ‘J-Hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ THE MOVIE,’ will be released in IMAX and theaters worldwide on November 12 and 15 through Trafalgar Releasing. The film captures the two-day encore concerts at Goyang Stadium in South Korea in June, which concluded his first solo world tour.
The concert movie includes tracks from J-Hope’s solo work such as his mixtape ‘Hope World,’ solo album ‘Jack In The Box,’ and the special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1,’ along with hits such as “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” “MONA LISA,” and “Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version).” The movie also includes special versions of BTS hits like “MIC Drop,” “Silver Spoon,” and “Dis-ease,” along with behind-the-scenes footage and appearances from BTS members Jin and Jungkook, and South Korean singer Crush. Currently, BTS is in South Korea, putting the finishing touches on the album and preparing for promotions. Members are also traveling for brand events and attending fashion weeks.
