Mohit Suri’s ‘Saiyaara’ has become a major success story, captivating audiences and dominating the box office. The film, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has achieved a remarkable feat, crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in just nine days.
The film’s opening day saw a strong collection of Rs 21.5 crore, followed by a weekend surge, with Rs 26 crore and Rs 35.75 crore on days two and three, respectively. While there was a slight decrease to Rs 24 crore on day four, the film maintained its performance during the weekdays, earning Rs 25 crore, Rs 21.5 crore, and Rs 19 crore on days five, six, and seven. The first week concluded with a substantial collection of Rs 172.75 crore. The second weekend continued the success, with the Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer adding Rs 18 crore on day eight.
Early estimates reveal that the romantic drama experienced a significant jump on its second Saturday, with an estimated Rs 26.5 crore. This has pushed the film’s total earnings over nine days to a massive Rs 217.25 crore.
‘Saiyaara’ is now the second Hindi film of 2025 to reach the Rs 200 crore club, following closely behind ‘Chhaava’. ‘Chhaava,’ featuring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, also reached the milestone quickly and remains the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, with a net collection of Rs 270 crore.
‘Saiyaara’ is a tale of love between artistic souls, Krish and Vaani. The film also features Alam Khan, Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, Sid Makkar, Shaan Groverr and Neil Dutta.
