‘Kantara Chapter 1’ and ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ debuted this week, sparking discussions among moviegoers. The films, each with its unique genre and a cast of skilled actors, presented an interesting contrast. ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ features Rishab Shetty as the lead actor and director, while ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ garnered Rs 61.5 crore on its fourth day, including Rs 23.5 crore from the Hindi market. Its total collection reached Rs 223.75 crore within four days.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ earned Rs 7.75 crore on day 4, accumulating a total of Rs 30 crore. The film has encountered strong competition from ‘Kantara Chapter 1,’ which has performed exceptionally well in the Hindi-speaking regions.
‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ is directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. The cast also includes Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, and it is the second film collaboration for Varun and Janhvi.
‘Kantara Chapter 1’ features Rishab Shetty portraying Berme, Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara. The visual aspects are managed by cinematographer Arvind S.
