Anime fans in India can now experience “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc,” a film adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s acclaimed manga. The movie, which premiered in Japan on September 19, 2025, and then in several Asian countries on September 24, 2025, is available to Indian viewers in Japanese and Hindi from September 26, 2025.
However, its box office earnings are significantly less than those of “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle.”
On its opening day, “Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc” generated approximately Rs 0.5 crore at the box office. The second day saw an increase, with earnings of about Rs 0.74 crore, resulting in a cumulative total of around Rs 1.24 crore after two days.
The film’s plot revolves around Denji, who transforms into ‘Chainsaw Man’ and joins Special Division 4 as a devil hunter. Following a movie date with Makima, the girl he is fond of, he meets Reze, a girl working at a café, while sheltering from the rain.
The voice cast includes Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki, Fairouz Ai as Power, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni, Natsuki Hanae as Beam, Yuuya Uchida as The Violence Fiend, Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil, and Reina Ueda as Reze.
