Ahaan Panday’s debut film, ‘Saiyaara’, has achieved a remarkable feat at the box office. The film, released on July 18th, has garnered immense popularity, leading to a worldwide collection of ₹517 crore within 22 days. Bobby Deol has shared his feelings about the film’s success. Deol revealed that watching ‘Saiyaara’ made him feel as if he were watching his own child’s cinematic achievement. Speaking with Fariidun Shahryar, Bobby Deol expressed his deep affection for the film and his happiness seeing Ahaan, whom he has watched grow up, succeed. He reminisced about Ahaan’s childhood, recalling the actor’s energetic play with a Spider-Man outfit and a punching bag. He noted that Ahaan had been waiting for about eight years for this debut. Deol stated, “I am very happy. I felt like my child’s film has been released and it has become such a big hit. I felt very good. I cried a lot while watching the movie, it was so emotional. Mohit (the director) has done such a wonderful job. It is the director’s film, but he got brilliant actors to play the characters.” He also referenced his own career milestone with ‘Animal’ and stated the significance of such a moment for an actor.
