Sixteen celebrities have entered the house, and Kunickaa Sadanand is one of the notable participants. Her strong screen presence and candid personality are expected to make her a memorable contestant.
Kunickaa Sadanand started her career in Delhi’s theatre scene before moving to films. Her debut film, Qabristaan, was released in 1988, when she was 28. She has appeared in over 110 films, often playing strong, bold, or negative roles. Her filmography includes popular titles like Beta, Gumraah, and Khiladi. She is also recognized for her role as Shanti, Reema Lagoo’s friend in Hum Saath-Saath Hain, and for portraying an 18-year-old mother in the TV series Swabhimaan.
Her personal life has been marked by trials, including two failed marriages and an eight-year custody dispute over her son. Her son eventually chose to live with his father. She has expressed that she holds no grudges and is friends with her former husbands. Kunickaa now works as a motivational speaker, sharing her life experiences.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kunickaa spoke about her six-year relationship with singer Kumar Sanu, which started while he was still married. Their relationship was kept private, with public appearances limited to stage shows. She assisted with his clothing choices and performance arrangements, considering herself to be his wife. She felt their relationship was similar to Shakuntala and Dushyant. However, she later discovered information that caused her emotional pain.
The theme of Bigg Boss 19, ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,’ has been highlighted in a promotional video featuring Salman Khan. While the details of how this theme will be incorporated into the show’s challenges are yet to be fully disclosed.
