He has started shooting for ‘Awarapan 2’, the sequel to his popular film ‘Awarapan’. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this project since its announcement on Emraan’s birthday in March 2025.
For the filming of ‘Awarapan 2’, Emraan Hashmi traveled a distance of 5000 kilometers from Mumbai. The production team shared an image from the opening shot on Instagram, with the caption referencing a popular song from the original film.
The film is being produced by Vishesh Bhatt under Vishesh Films. The makers have officially initiated the shooting. Hashmi and the crew are currently in Bangkok, approximately 5000 kilometers from Mumbai. Nitin Kakkar is directing the film, and Bilal Siddiqui is writing the story. In addition to these updates, the release date has been announced.
‘Awarapan 2’ is scheduled to hit cinemas on April 3, 2026. The film’s production team is aiming for a grand launch to meet the expectations of the audience.
