Following the success of several recent films and series, including the acclaimed ‘Bads of Bollywood,’ Emraan Hashmi is gearing up for ‘Awarapan 2.’ The film, directed by Nitin Kakkar, has commenced shooting, with the main action set to unfold 4000 kilometers away. The production team has meticulously planned a 40-day shooting schedule in Bangkok, followed by extensive filming in Mumbai.
The sequel picks up where the original ‘Awarapan’ left off, with Emraan Hashmi’s character, Shivam, reuniting with Disha Patani’s character. Patani, who has a 1000 crore success under her belt from Kalki Part 1, will be involved in the action. Filming began last week on the bustling streets of Bangkok, with plans to shoot high-octane action scenes in a local market.
The producers are implementing strict security measures to prevent any leaks. Emraan Hashmi is expected to appear with a new look, sporting a thin French beard. Notably, Disha Patani has undergone extensive training for her action sequences. The Bangkok schedule is anticipated to conclude by early November, with subsequent filming focusing on emotional scenes in Mumbai. The filmmakers have arranged for two schedules, including the construction of a home-like set within a studio. Although ‘Awarapan’ wasn’t a blockbuster in terms of collections, it resonated with audiences, prompting the sequel. Disha Patani is also involved in other upcoming projects.
