During the TV9 Satta Sammelan, Annu Kapoor addressed the issue of Priyanka Chopra’s refusal to do a kissing scene in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf.’ When asked, ‘Did Priyanka Chopra refuse Annu Kapoor for a kissing scene on the sets of the film ‘Saat Khoon Maaf?’ Annu replied, ‘Nothing like that happened. It was more about creating sensation. We have a habit of sensationalizing things. Violence always works.’
The actor further elaborated, ‘The issue you mentioned came up then, that something like this happened. She didn’t say it. So, I said it’s her choice. It’s not a dictatorship. At the end of this, I said, she didn’t do it.’
